Casa de Campo & La Romana wedding transportation

A Casa de Campo wedding almost never arrives through one airport. Some guests fly into La Romana, some into Santo Domingo, some into Punta Cana because that is where the fare was. All three go on the same manifest.

Guests submit their own flights through your event page, you approve each request, and every approved request becomes a dispatched reservation with a driver who knows the venue's access point.

Three gateways, one manifest

Drive times come from our own route data and are stated against the named resort.

  • La Romana International (LRM)

The closest gateway to Casa de Campo, and the quietest terminal of the three. Guests who can route through LRM have the shortest transfer of any option.

    • Casa de Campo Resort and Villas is 14 minutes from LRM per our route data.
    • Hilton La Romana is 19 minutes from LRM per our route data.
    • Dreams La Romana is 23 minutes from LRM per our route data.

  • Las Américas International (SDQ)

The largest international gateway for guests flying from Europe and Latin America, on the highway west of the venue.

    • Casa de Campo Resort and Villas is 84 minutes from SDQ per our route data.

  • Punta Cana International (PUJ)

Many guests book PUJ simply because it had the flight they wanted. That is fine — they go on the same wedding manifest as everyone else.

    • Casa de Campo Resort and Villas is 58 minutes from PUJ per our route data.

Venue realities we plan around

Casa de Campo is a resort the size of a town, and the ceremony is rarely where the guests sleep.

  • Ceremony and reception movements inside the resort grounds, including Altos de Chavón, planned with your coordinator.
  • Gate and access details cleared with the property before the first arrival.
  • Guest hotels outside the resort — including the La Romana and Bayahibe coast — served on the same manifest.
  • Departure day handled as its own wave, back to whichever airport each guest flies from.

Casa de Campo & La Romana wedding questions

Which airport should Casa de Campo wedding guests fly into?
La Romana (LRM) is closest — per our route data, Casa de Campo Resort and Villas is 14 minutes from LRM. Guests who find better flights into Santo Domingo (SDQ) or Punta Cana (PUJ) are still met and driven on the same wedding manifest, so nobody needs to rebook.
Can you move a wedding party to an Altos de Chavón ceremony?
Yes. Ceremony movements inside the resort grounds and up to Altos de Chavón are planned with your coordinator, because access and staging points differ by venue. Those movements are quoted with your event rather than requested by guests through the portal.
Do you serve Bayahibe and the surrounding coast for weddings?
Yes. Bayahibe and the wider La Romana coast are served from the same operation, with LRM usually the nearest gateway. Guest arrivals are still planned around whichever airport each guest actually flies into rather than the one closest to your venue.
