Sosúa Private Transportation
Sosúa is a bay town with two distinct halves — El Batey above the beach and Los Charamicos on the other side of the water — and a hillside of residences and long-stay rentals behind them. It is compact enough to walk in the centre and spread out enough that arrivals, day trips and departures all mean a drive.
We handle those drives as private transfers: your own vehicle, your own chauffeur, flight monitoring on arrivals, a confirmed meeting point inside the terminal and one fixed quote agreed before payment. Nothing is shared and no other passengers are picked up. Travelers rate us #1 for transportation in the Dominican Republic on Tripadvisor.
August in Sosúa: highs around 31.4°C / 89°F, lows around 24.9°C / 77°F, typically drier than the rest of the year.

Sosúa is a bay town in two halves — El Batey above the beach, Los Charamicos across the water — with a hillside of residences and long-stay rentals behind them and a settled international community that has been here for decades.
The bay is sheltered enough for easy swimming and diving, the centre is walkable, and everything else on the coast is a short private drive away.

Which airport should you fly into for Sosúa?
Puerto Plata (POP) is the nearest airport to Sosúa and the shortest arrival when a suitable flight exists. Because POP's schedule is thin, most travelers end up choosing between it and Santiago (STI).
Santiago is the practical alternative: more flights, and one direct private transfer down to the coast and east to the bay. Santo Domingo (SDQ) is the long fallback. Send us the options you are looking at and we will tell you which one we would take.
