Who we are

Transekur Global, S.R.L. ("Transekur", "we") provides private ground transportation in the Dominican Republic. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or book a trip, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information we collect

• Booking details: name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations, travel dates and times, flight number, number of passengers, luggage, and any special requests such as child seats.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by our PCI-certified payment provider. Card numbers are entered on the provider's secure form and are never stored on our servers.
• Trip records: the vehicle and chauffeur assigned to your trip, GPS trip logs, and messages exchanged with our dispatch or support team.
• Website data: pages visited, referring source, approximate location, device and browser information, and marketing campaign identifiers carried in the link you arrived through.

How we use it

• To create, confirm and operate your reservation, including monitoring your inbound flight and adjusting your pickup.
• To communicate with you about your trip — confirmations, chauffeur details, schedule updates and support requests.
• To take payment and issue receipts through our payment provider.
• To meet legal, tax and transport-regulator obligations, including records required under our operating licence.
• To measure and improve the website and our advertising.

Cookies and measurement

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, to remember your booking progress, and to measure traffic and advertising performance. Consent for analytics and advertising cookies is requested before those cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw it at any time in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data.

• The chauffeur and dispatch staff assigned to your trip, limited to what they need to complete it.
• Our payment processor, for the sole purpose of taking payment.
• Service providers that host this site, send our transactional messages and measure our advertising.
• Authorities and regulators, where the law or our operating licence requires it.

How long we keep it

Reservation and trip records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and transport-regulator purposes. Marketing and analytics data are kept for no longer than needed for the purpose they were collected for.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to its use for marketing. We answer every request and will tell you if a legal obligation prevents us from acting on part of it.

Security

Access to reservation data is restricted to staff who need it to run your trip. Payments are handled entirely by a PCI-certified processor, and the connection to this site is encrypted.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children except the passenger details a booking adult provides for the trip itself.
