Electric
Fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge
Transekur operates fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge vehicles as part of the fleet, on the company's own plates, maintained by us and driven by our own employed chauffeurs like every other vehicle we run.
The booking system's vehicle categories do not include a separate electric class, so an electric vehicle is not something you select online. Tell our reservations team you want one and they will tell you whether it is available for your date and route.
What it changes for the passenger
- A silent cabin — no engine noise on the drive from the airport.
- No fuel smell, inside or when boarding.
- Lower emissions for the trip than the equivalent combustion vehicle.
Why corporate and production clients ask for it
Many studios and multinationals now carry emissions-reporting obligations, and ground transport falls inside them. An electric transfer is reportable against those obligations, which a combustion transfer is not. If your production or company reports on travel emissions, say so when you enquire and we will work with what we have available.
We own the vehicles and we employ the chauffeurs
Every vehicle on this page is ours, and the chauffeur who drives it is our employee — trained, bilingual and in uniform. Nothing is brokered out to a third-party operator.
