Mercedes Sprinter Group Transportation in Santo Domingo

The short answer

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is still very much in our fleet — today it is the black long-wheelbase version, carrying up to 16 passengers and 16 suitcases with group seating, an entertainment system and extra luggage space. It is our standard answer for group arrivals at Santo Domingo Las Américas (SDQ) and for moving groups around the capital and out to the coast.

The group vehicle for Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo group travel has a specific shape: a delegation or family arriving on one flight into SDQ, a hotel in Piantini or the Zona Colonial, and then movements around a dense city where fifteen people in three separate cars is a logistical mess. One Sprinter keeps the group together, keeps the luggage with the group, and gives you a single driver responsible for the whole movement.

It is also the vehicle for the longer runs the capital feeds: SDQ to Punta Cana, SDQ to Casa de Campo and Bayahibe, or SDQ to Juan Dolio and Samaná.

The vehicle is assigned by class rather than by specific model.

When to size up or down

Sixteen is the ceiling per vehicle. Conferences, incentive groups and large family gatherings move in the Large Bus, up to 50 passengers, usually with a coordinator on our side. Below the Sprinter, a party of up to 6 with full luggage fits the Full-Size SUV and up to 5 the Minivan. See the fleet page for all five classes.

For a group larger than one vehicle, tell us the total headcount rather than booking two vehicles yourself — we will plan the movement so everyone arrives together.

What is included

The vehicle is private to your group. We monitor the inbound flight and your driver waits up to two hours after landing at no extra charge, meeting the group inside the terminal with a name sign. Airport pickups include cold bottled water, soft drinks and cold towels; return trips include Wi-Fi and complimentary water or soda. Child seats can be added to any booking.

How pricing works

Rates are not published here because a group quote follows the route, the headcount, the dates and how many movements you need. The exact vehicle options available for your trip and their pricing appear in the booking quote, which is fixed before you pay.

Start with Santo Domingo airport transfers, SDQ to Punta Cana or SDQ to Casa de Campo. For weddings, conferences and incentive travel, see groups and events.
