Event transportation & coordination in the Dominican Republic

Transekur has operated since 2012 — more than a decade running large-event transportation and on-the-ground coordination across the Dominican Republic.

We don't just provide vehicles. We run the coordination layer: representatives posted at every point, a full driver manifest in your hands before anyone moves, and a single communications net connecting every coordinator and driver.

Events we move

Over more than a decade we have handled transportation and coordination for:

  • Government institutions
  • Multilateral organizations
  • Corporate programs and incentive groups
  • Weddings
  • Fashion events
  • Concerts and large public events

The coordination system

Six standing rules that apply to every event we run.

  1. 01

    A coordinator at every point

For the full duration of your event, Transekur keeps at least one representative physically posted at every origin and destination — hotels, venues and private locations.

  2. 02

    The 24-hour manifest

At least 24 hours before the event starts, you receive the full assignment sheet: each driver's name, verified mobile number, national ID on file, vehicle category and capacity, plate number and colour. You know exactly who is driving whom before anyone moves.

  3. 03

    Nothing moves without authorization

No vehicle boards guests or leaves a point without direct approval from the Transekur representative on site. Every unit's position and its assigned guests are known to the coordination team at all times, and drivers must report any moment they would be unavailable — a rule with no exceptions.

  4. 04

    One communications net

The event coordinator runs a dedicated real-time communications group linking every coordinator and driver, so instructions reach the whole operation instantly.

  5. 05

    Daily briefings

The full driver team is briefed before the event and again at the start of every working day: protocols reviewed, and any issue from the previous day corrected.

  6. 06

    Planned around your venues

We work with your team on access points, staging and parking positions for each venue and hotel before day one.

Weddings, from the first car to the last guest home

We run full wedding-day logistics: moving the bridal party — las damas y los caballeros — between locations in our larger vehicles, so everyone arrives together and on time.

Guest shuttles cover the places where parking is simply impossible, such as Santo Domingo's Zona Colonial, with a coordinator posted at each pickup and drop-off point.

And when the celebration ends, drivers are on standby through the night to take your guests safely home.

Airport arrivals in waves

Guests rarely arrive on one flight. We plan arrivals in waves across Punta Cana (PUJ), Santo Domingo (SDQ), La Romana (LRM) and Samaná (AZS), monitoring each guest's flight separately so every group is met at its actual landing time.

Vehicles and convoys

The Mercedes Sprinter carries up to 16 passengers and the Large Bus up to 50. Larger groups travel as a convoy of several vehicles under one coordination team. Vehicle model is assigned by class, not by specific model.

Event coordination questions

How far in advance should we book event transportation?
As early as your venues and guest list are known. Access points, staging and parking positions are planned with your team before day one, and the driver manifest is issued at least 24 hours before the event starts.
Do you cover the whole country?
Yes. We operate event transportation and coordination across the Dominican Republic, including Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, La Romana and Bayahibe, Samaná and Miches.
How do you keep track of every guest and vehicle?
Two things: the manifest and the posted coordinators. You receive the full assignment sheet at least 24 hours ahead — driver, vehicle, capacity, plate and colour — and at least one Transekur representative stays posted at every origin and destination, so every unit's position and its assigned guests are known to the coordination team at all times.
Can you handle arrivals for guests on many different flights?
Yes. Guest arrivals are planned in waves across PUJ, SDQ, LRM and AZS, with each guest's flight monitored separately so no part of the group waits for another flight to land.
