1. Agreement
These terms govern transportation services booked with Transekur Global LLC and provided in the Dominican Republic by Transekur Global, S.R.L. ("Transekur"). Completing a reservation means you accept them on behalf of every passenger in your party.
2. Contracting entities
Online sales are contracted with Transekur Global LLC (United States (Florida)), the entity that takes your reservation and payment through this website.
Ground transportation services in the Dominican Republic are performed by Transekur Global, S.R.L. under INTRANT authorization SAV-LL 002-2025 (RNC 1-30-92640-9).
Both entities share common ownership.
3. Reservations
A reservation exists only once it is confirmed by us and paid. Your confirmation states the vehicle class, pickup point, date and time. Vehicles are assigned by class, not by a specific make or model; the vehicle you travel in will meet or exceed the passenger and luggage capacity of the class you booked.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us — flight number, pickup address, passenger and luggage count, and contact number. We cannot be held responsible for a failed pickup caused by incorrect details.
4. Prices and payment
Every trip is quoted as one fixed price before you pay, covering the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls and taxes for the itinerary you booked. Nothing is settled with the chauffeur on arrival. Payment is taken at the time of booking through our PCI-certified processor. Gratuities are not included and are entirely at your discretion.
5. Changes to a confirmed trip
Send change requests as early as you can. Changes to date, time, pickup point or passenger count are subject to availability, and a change that alters the vehicle class or itinerary may change the price; any difference is quoted to you for approval before it is applied.
6. Cancellation and refunds
The windows above apply to individual and consumer bookings exactly as published.
Institutional and corporate account clients may have different cancellation windows, including cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup, as defined in their service agreement.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Where a credit is issued instead of a refund, it is valid for one year from the original travel date.
- 14 or more days before pickup: Full refund.
- 13 days to 48 hours before pickup: 50% refund, or a 100% credit valid for one year.
- Inside 48 hours, or no-show: Non-refundable.
7. Waiting time, delays and no-shows
We monitor every inbound flight and your chauffeur waits up to 2 hours after landing at no extra charge. For non-airport pickups, a grace period applies from the confirmed pickup time, after which a waiting fee may apply; the fee is quoted before it is charged.
If you do not appear at the confirmed meeting point and do not contact us, the trip is treated as a no-show under the cancellation terms above. If you cannot find your chauffeur, call us before leaving the terminal — our dispatch team is available around the clock.
8. Additional stops and route changes
Your vehicle is private and travels directly to your destination. An extra stop or a change of destination requested during the trip is subject to the chauffeur's schedule and to an additional charge, quoted before it is accepted.
9. Passengers, luggage and child seats
- Passenger and luggage counts must not exceed the booked vehicle class. If the party or luggage is larger than declared, we may be unable to carry everyone, and the booking is treated as a no-show for anyone who cannot be seated safely.
- Child seats are available on request at US$5.00 per trip and must be requested at the time of booking.
- Seat belts must be worn at all times. Dominican law prohibits smoking in the vehicle.
- Pets are carried only where agreed in advance and in an appropriate carrier.
- You are responsible for damage or soiling of the vehicle caused by a passenger in your party, and for the resulting repair or cleaning cost.
10. Conduct and right to refuse service
Our chauffeurs may refuse or end a trip where a passenger is behaving in a way that endangers the vehicle, the chauffeur or other passengers, or where carrying the party would breach the law. In those cases no refund is due.
11. Circumstances beyond our control
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, including weather, road closures, traffic, accidents, civil disturbance, airport or airline disruption, or acts of authority. Where such an event prevents the trip entirely, we will offer a rescheduled trip or a credit.
12. Liability
We hold commercial passenger liability insurance and operate under our transport operating licence. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected trip, except where Dominican law provides otherwise. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights, missed events or lost accommodation, and we are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle — though we will always try to recover and return them.
13. Travel documents
You are responsible for your own travel documents and for any entry requirement of the Dominican Republic, including the electronic entry form and any tourist card required for your nationality. We cannot advise on immigration matters and are not liable for a refused entry.
14. Governing law and contact
Services performed in the Dominican Republic are governed by Dominican law and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts. Questions about this document can be sent to contact@transekur.com or +1 (809) 333-7999.
