From either airport
Serenade is on the Bavaro beachfront and opened in mid-2020, so it is newer than most of its neighbours. We transfer guests there from Punta Cana airport and, for travelers who found a better fare into the capital, from Santo Domingo Las Americas as well.
The SDQ route is longer but often cheaper to fly — the trade-off is set out on our Santo Domingo airport transfers page.
What the transfer includes
- A driver inside the arrivals hall with your name on a sign.
- Live flight tracking and free waiting time on airport arrivals.
- A private vehicle for your party, sized to your luggage.
- Bilingual drivers, air conditioning, cold drinks and Wi-Fi.
Booking
Give us your flight number, the resort name and your party size. You will see a fixed quote in the booking form before paying — we do not publish rates in articles because they depend on the route and vehicle.
For the Bavaro strip in general, see our Punta Cana airport to Bavaro route page.
Getting to Serenade Punta Cana: which airport
Serenade Punta Cana sits on the Cabeza de Toro shore between the airport and Bávaro. Punta Cana International (PUJ) is the primary gateway and the airport most guests use. Santo Domingo Las Américas (SDQ) is the alternative, with a wider spread of international flights and often cheaper fares. We run the transfer as a single private vehicle from either one, so the decision is usually about flight schedules and fares rather than logistics. Route detail for the area is on our Punta Cana airport to Bávaro page.
Typical driving time: about 21 min from Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) · 130 min from Santo Domingo (SDQ) · 60 min from La Romana (LRM). Driving times via Google Maps routing, computed August 2026 — actual times vary with traffic.
Your arrival day at Serenade Punta Cana
We take your flight number at booking and monitor the flight, so your pickup follows the arrival that actually happens. Your chauffeur is waiting inside the arrivals hall with a tablet showing your name, helps with the luggage, and there is cold bottled water in the vehicle. From there it is one direct drive to the resort lobby. You also have two hours of free waiting time after landing, which covers a slow immigration hall or a late bag.
Ride-hailing is not a fallback here: pickup by app-based cars at Punta Cana Airport is restricted, which is why a pre-booked transfer is the reliable arrangement — the detail is in can I take an Uber at Punta Cana airport.
The public reference points on this stretch are Bávaro's beachfront and El Cortecito, the small beach town in the middle of the corridor.
Leaving Serenade Punta Cana: your departure pickup
Our dispatch schedules the return pickup around your departure flight and keeps watching it for changes. Before the pickup we reconfirm the details with you — passenger count, luggage and the exact meeting point at the resort — so the vehicle that arrives is the right size for what you are travelling home with. If your flight time moves, the pickup moves with it; we do not hold you to a fixed hour set weeks earlier.
