Eden Roc Cap Cana is a Relais & Châteaux member property of suites and villas near the Cap Cana marina. It sits inside Cap Cana, the gated community south of the airport, which is the part of the arrival most guests ask us about.
The Cap Cana gate is our job, not yours
Cap Cana controls its own access. Our chauffeurs drive into the community every day and know the checkpoint routine, so it is handled while you stay seated. We confirm your exact resort — or your villa address, if you are staying privately — when you book, because gate directions differ from one property to the next inside the community.
Villas and the marina side of the community
Guests staying in a villa rather than the main building should give us that address when booking. Cap Cana is large, the villa clusters are spread across it, and having the address in advance is the difference between one clean approach and a lap of the community with your luggage in the back.
Which vehicle you need
Capacity comes straight from our booking system. Vehicle model is assigned by class, not by specific model.
- Small SUV (Volvo XC40) — up to 2 passengers and 2 suitcases. Couples travelling light.
- Minivan (Hyundai Staria) — up to 5 passengers and 5 suitcases. The usual choice for a family.
- Full-Size SUV (Ford Expedition Max) — up to 6 passengers and 6 suitcases, with the luggage room for golf clubs.
- Mercedes Sprinter — up to 16 passengers and 16 suitcases, for a wedding party or multi-family group.
- Large Bus — up to 50 passengers, for a full group movement.

Add VIP Fast Track to the arrival
If you want to skip the immigration and customs queues, VIP Fast Track can be added to the same arrival and handed to your chauffeur at the private exit. It is the fastest version of a Cap Cana arrival, and it is worth it on the busy afternoon flight bank.

Getting to Eden Roc Cap Cana: which airport
Eden Roc Cap Cana sits inside the gated Cap Cana community just south of the airport. Punta Cana International (PUJ) is the primary gateway and the airport most guests use. Santo Domingo Las Américas (SDQ) is the alternative, with a wider spread of international flights and often cheaper fares. We run the transfer as a single private vehicle from either one, so the decision is usually about flight schedules and fares rather than logistics. Your arrival day at Eden Roc Cap Cana
We take your flight number at booking and monitor the flight, so your pickup follows the arrival that actually happens. Your chauffeur is waiting inside the arrivals hall with a tablet showing your name, helps with the luggage, and there is cold bottled water in the vehicle. From there it is one direct drive to the resort lobby. The community is gated, and your chauffeur handles the gate process on arrival — we confirm the resort or villa address at booking so there is nothing for you to sort out at the entrance. You also have two hours of free waiting time after landing, which covers a slow immigration hall or a late bag.

The public landmarks inside the community are Playa Juanillo and the Marina at Cap Cana; both are within Cap Cana itself, so your chauffeur passes the same gate either way.

Our dispatch schedules the return pickup around your departure flight and keeps watching it for changes. Before the pickup we reconfirm the details with you — passenger count, luggage and the exact meeting point at the resort — so the vehicle that arrives is the right size for what you are travelling home with. If your flight time moves, the pickup moves with it; we do not hold you to a fixed hour set weeks earlier.
