This corridor holds Dreams Dominicus La Romana at Playa Dominicus and Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa at Playa Bayahibe. They are separate operating resorts with separate receptions. The names overlap in two places at once: the brand, and the words “La Romana”, which here describes the province rather than one hotel.

That is a naming problem, not a driving problem. The drive to either is short and the road is the same for most of it. What goes wrong is upstream of the road: a party writes “Dreams” on a form, a vehicle is assigned, and nobody notices the ambiguity until the last turn. La Romana (LRM) is the closest airport to Playa Dominicus. It also has far fewer scheduled flights than Punta Cana, so most guests arrive at PUJ regardless and drive west. Santo Domingo (SDQ) is the third option and is often the cheapest long-haul connection.

None of that changes the arrival itself: whichever terminal you land in, your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with your name on a tablet, and you have two hours of free waiting time after landing.
