Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) to Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana
Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana is the adults-only hotel that sits inside the Royalton Punta Cana grounds on Bávaro Beach. In our dispatch data the two share the same coordinates, because geographically they are the same place.
That is exactly why the booking has to be specific. A transfer written to "Royalton Punta Cana" by a guest checking into Hideaway describes the surrounding resort rather than the hotel they are staying in, and the chauffeur has nothing to confirm the drop-off against.
This page is about avoiding that one mistake. We serve this hotel on real reservations; what we need is the word Hideaway on the booking and the name the reservation is held under.
Typical driving time to the Bávaro–Macao zone, where the resort sits: about 45 min from Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) (30 km). These are zone-level figures for the whole Bávaro–Macao dispatch zone rather than one property — every resort on this coast dispatches from the same routing row. Dispatch planning figure from our own zone matrix, and actual times vary with traffic. Driving estimates exclude immigration, baggage claim and hotel check-in.

Book my Hideaway transferA hotel inside another resort's grounds
Hideaway is adults-only and sits within the Royalton Punta Cana grounds. Our routing data carries one set of coordinates for both, which tells you how close they are and nothing about how they are arranged.
We are deliberate about that limit. What we can confirm is that they are booked separately, checked into separately and named separately, so a transfer has to name the one you are staying in. What we will not claim is that there is a separate entrance, a separate reception or a particular way in, because we have not verified any of it and this page is not the place to guess. The chauffeur confirms your drop-off from the hotel name and the reservation name, which is enough.
The mistake this page exists to prevent
The failure looks small on paper. A guest booked into Hideaway writes "Royalton Punta Cana" on the transfer, because that is what the address feels like.
Then the booking says one thing and the stay is another, and the only person who can reconcile them is standing on the kerb with the luggage. It is a two-word fix made a week early: put Hideaway in the name. If your own confirmation says something shorter, send us what it says — we will match it to the right hotel and record that on the transfer, rather than tidying it up into something that reads better and means less.
An adults-only booking is usually a small vehicle booking
Most arrivals here are couples or pairs of couples, so the vehicle question is short — until the bags are counted.
Every class we run has a suitcase capacity as well as a passenger capacity, and the tighter of the two decides the booking. Two travellers with four large cases, dive gear or golf clubs are not a two-suitcase party. Tell us the bag count while you book and we will size upward if it is needed; the alternative is discovering it in the arrivals hall, which is nobody's preferred version.
Say Hideaway on the booking
Write the hotel name in full — Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana — add the reservation name, your flight and your party size, and we hold a private vehicle against that destination.
Where we meet you inside Punta Cana Airport (PUJ)
We monitor the inbound flight and the chauffeur waits up to two hours after landing at no extra charge, so a long immigration queue does not cost you the transfer.
The meeting point is confirmed in writing before you travel, so the first thing you do after clearing customs is not a search. If you would rather skip the queue entirely, a VIP fast track meets passengers before immigration and takes the party through as one group — the Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) hub sets out how the two work together.
The drive to Bávaro Beach
Bávaro Beach falls inside our Bávaro–Macao dispatch zone, and the figure published on this page is the zone number our own system dispatches from.
It is a planning figure. It varies with traffic, and it ends when the vehicle stops — immigration, baggage claim and check-in are outside it entirely. That is why the pickup is timed from your flight rather than from a slot chosen in advance. The Bávaro destination guide describes this stretch of beach in its own right.
What we can tell you, and what belongs to the hotel
Our subject is the arrival: the flight, the vehicle, the waiting time, the drop-off and the return leg.
Which facilities a Hideaway stay includes, how its adults-only policy works, whether anything is shared with the resort around it — those are questions for Royalton, and answering them here would mean inventing them. Our own terms we can state plainly: transfers are private rather than shared, vehicle models are assigned by class, and the fleet page lists the capacities we hold ourselves to.
Departure day
The return pickup is agreed with you in advance and held against the same hotel name — Hideaway, not the resort around it.
We set the time from your flight and the check-in window your airline publishes, not from the drive time alone. Additional legs during the stay, such as a run to another address or an early departure for one of the party, are booked separately with their own confirmed pickup. Cancellations follow our standing policy: full refund fourteen or more days before pickup, partial refund or a one-year credit inside that window, nothing refundable inside forty-eight hours.
Mobility, medical kit and anything that changes the vehicle
If someone in the party uses a wheelchair, a walking frame, oxygen or any equipment that has to travel with them, tell us at booking rather than describing it on arrival.
We assign vehicles by class from published passenger and suitcase limits, and that equipment occupies real space against both. Knowing in advance lets us choose a class that carries the person, the equipment and the luggage together, and lets the chauffeur plan how the vehicle is loaded before he is standing in front of it. What we will not do is promise a facility we cannot verify, so if a specific requirement is outside what our classes can carry we say so while you still have time to arrange something else. How the hotel itself handles access on arrival is Royalton's to answer, and we do not speak for it.
The same applies to anything that has to be kept cool or carried flat, and to a passenger who simply needs the front seat. None of it is unusual and none of it needs explaining twice; it just needs to reach us before the vehicle is assigned rather than after.

This page describes an arrival, not a property. It states only where the property is, which airport serves it and what the resort itself publishes about transfers; it makes no claim about rooms, rates, facilities or awards. Confirm any resort detail with the property.
Airport names, terminal layouts and flight schedules are the airports' and airlines' own and change without notice; confirm your own itinerary with your airline. Driving figures on this page come from our routing dataset, are planning figures that vary with traffic, and exclude immigration, baggage claim and hotel check-in. Where the dataset holds no figure for a pair, this page makes the point without a number rather than estimating one.
