Iberostar publishes JOIA Bávaro as formerly Iberostar Grand Bávaro. The sign changes on one date; paperwork changes whenever each guest happens to rebook.
So confirmations, itineraries and forwarded emails circulate with the old name for years afterwards, and a guest quoting their own documents is quoting them correctly. Our job is to make both names resolve to the same destination before the car is dispatched, which is a booking-form problem rather than a driving problem.
Four hotels, one complex
Iberostar names Iberostar Selection Bávaro, Iberostar Waves Dominicana and Iberostar Waves Punta Cana alongside JOIA in the Bávaro complex. Each is its own hotel with its own reception.
That is why "Iberostar" on a transfer request is a brand and not an address. We ask for the specific hotel, and for the reservation name that lets the chauffeur confirm it. We publish nothing about the complex's internal layout, because we have verified nothing about it beyond which hotels are in it.
An adults-only arrival, sized for two
The hotel is 18 and over, and most arrivals are couples. The Small SUV is published at two passengers and two suitcases — precise, with no spare room.
Add a third bag, a suit carrier or golf clubs and the Minivan at five and five is the sensible class. Groups arriving together have the Full-Size SUV at six and six and the Mercedes Sprinter at sixteen and sixteen. Celebration groups on staggered flights
Adults-only hotels see a lot of anniversary, birthday and small-wedding travel, and those parties rarely land together.

The return leg
