This hotel was Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar before it was renamed. Older confirmations, agency vouchers and forwarded emails still carry that name.

Both names refer to the same hotel, and either is enough for us as long as it is the name that actually appears on your hotel confirmation. If your paperwork says Luxury Ambar and the booking engine you are using says Escape Ambar, tell us what your confirmation says and we will match it. What does not help is a transfer booked to a third variation assembled from memory: a name we can trace to a confirmation is worth more than a tidier one we cannot.

That written confirmation is deliberate. It gives you something to check against your own airline paperwork a week out, when a wrong flight number or a mistyped resort name is a two-minute correction rather than a problem in the arrivals hall. It also means nobody has to explain the booking at the kerb, because the chauffeur is working from the same details you already hold. If anything changes after we confirm, a rebooked flight, an extra passenger, one more bag than you counted on, reply to that confirmation and we adjust the booking. We would rather revise a detail twice in the week before travel than find a mismatch on the day, and late corrections are not an inconvenience to us. They are the reason the confirmation is sent in that form at all.
