Selecting the Right Punta Cana Transportation for Your Party

How to match your party and luggage to the right vehicle class — Small SUV, Minivan, Full-Size SUV, Mercedes Sprinter or Large Bus — for a Punta Cana transfer.

Five classes, and how to choose

Our fleet is organised by class rather than by individual model, so what you book is a guaranteed capacity and standard.

Small SUV — Volvo XC40. Up to 2 passengers and 2 suitcases. The right call for solo travellers and couples travelling light. Comfortable seating, climate control, USB charging, professional driver.

Minivan — Hyundai Staria. Up to 5 passengers and 5 suitcases. The default family choice: leather seats, premium sound, climate control and Wi-Fi, with real luggage space behind the last row.

Full-Size SUV — Ford Expedition Max. Up to 6 passengers and 6 suitcases. Third-row seating and extra luggage space, which matters on the longer runs to Uvero Alto or Miches where nobody wants a case on their lap.

Mercedes Sprinter. Up to 16 passengers and 16 suitcases. Group seating, entertainment system, extra luggage. The workhorse for wedding parties, corporate groups and multi-family trips.

Large Bus. Up to 50 passengers. For conferences, incentive groups and large family gatherings, usually alongside a coordinator on our side.

The luggage test

Most bad transfers are luggage failures, not people failures. Count your cases honestly — including golf bags, strollers, car seats and dive gear — and book by whichever number is higher, passengers or suitcases. The class capacities above are per vehicle, and the assigned model is set by class rather than by specific vehicle.

What comes with every class

A professional bilingual driver and a private vehicle for your party only. Flight monitoring with up to two hours of free waiting after landing. Cold bottled water, soft drinks and cold towels on airport pickups; Wi-Fi and complimentary water or soda on return trips. Child seats can be added to any booking.

Extras worth considering

VIP Fast Track for peak arrivals, extra drinks on the booking's extras step, and child seats. For multi-day work rather than a single transfer, look at private chauffeur service; for delegations and events, groups and events.

Browse the full fleet, then price your route on the Punta Cana transfer page. Vehicle fit by party size is also summarised on Punta Cana transportation.
