Terms and Conditions

Transekur Global, a company legally incorporated in the State of Florida, in the United States of America, sells transportation services. Its offices are located in the city of Miami.

All services are priced and sold in United States Dollars. All payments should be made in United States Dollars through all means available. International (Non-U.S.) credit card holders could see a different amount on their credit card statement. The difference is due to the exchange rate within banks and is not a direct responsibility of Transekur Global.

Pictures shown in this website are for illustrative purposes only. The model and color of the unit may be different that that in the picture. The vehicle category will not change. If the vehicle category is changed, you will be upgraded to a vehicle of superior characteristics.

Once you complete a reservation in our website, you are authorizing Transekur Global to charge your credit or debit card for the full amount of the services requested.

We strongly encourage you to have a print copy or an electronic device with your reservation confirmation.

Cancellation Policy / No-Show Fees

All cancellations MUST be made by in writing only (Email, Chat, text). Phone cancellations are not accepted.

  • FULL REFUND for cancellations 14 days before pickup.
  • 50% REFUND between 13  and 2 days before pickup or a 100% credit valid for a year after the original scheduled pickup.
  • Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours prior to scheduled pick-up, will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full price of the trip fare.

We are not responsible for passenger flights or trains which are missed, cancelled, diverted, delayed or any other incident which results in failure to comply with the cancellation policy.

We will make our best effort to fulfill client needs in these instances subject to wait time fees or late cancellations and re-bookings without detriment to other reserved clients.  At the time of cancellation you will always be given a cancellation number for your records. It is the client’s responsibility to retain the cancellation number. If you are not able to contact Transekur for your cancellation, it will be considered a ‘no-show’ and will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full fare of the trip plus.

TRANSFER NO SHOW POLICY

All reservations will be considered a ‘no show’ at two (2) hours past your actual flight landing time (for airport pickups) and 15 minutes at non-airport pickup locations for transfers.

This policy does not apply to as-directed (hourly) service, as you are billed by the hour from the time the vehicle arrives at the pickup location.

If you have not contacted our office or met your chauffeur by that time you will be charged in full for the reservation plus any other additional charges incurred. We will exact our best effort to fulfill client needs in these instances subject to wait time fees (US$30 for up to ONE HOUR) or late cancellations and re-bookings without detriment to other reserved clients.

Transekur is not responsible for acts of God, acts of Mother Nature and or circumstances that are beyond our control including, but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, road work, accidents, flight delays, or weather delays.

Transekur reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if our office or dispatcher feel that the client and or party of the client is putting Transekur and or the client in danger of injury. 

Additionally, if the client and or party of the client are in the possession of any illegal material and or illegal substances, this service will be terminated immediately and charged at the full amount of the reservation. This is without exception. 

LOST ITEMS

Transekur is not responsible for items left in any vehicle, lost or damaged.  If you do forget something in a vehicle please call our office immediately so that we can try to locate it for you.  The client is responsible for all damages or cleaning charges incurred by the client or party of the client committed during service, either willfully or accidentally. 

Client holds Transekur harmless and not liable for any personal or material damages arising from the conduct of his/her party willfully or accidentally. 

Client agrees that there will be no smoking in our vehicle(s). 

Client agrees that no illegal drugs or alcohol will be consumed in our vehicle(s) by any passengers under 18 years of age. 

Client agrees that the passenger capacity of vehicle provided shall not be exceeded. 

Transekur reserves the right to replace vehicles, in case of mechanical problems, with vehicles of the same capacity or greater, but not always in the same color as ordered.  In case of misconduct by your party, the chauffeur has the right to terminate service without any refunds.  

An airport transfer does not include wait time or stops. Wait time and stops that exceed 10 minutes will be charged at a rate of US$30 per hour or stop. This fee will be CHARGED directly to the credit card on file.

Stops are limited to one 10 minute stop per hour.

We monitor flight arrivals. We will dispatch the service according to the actual arrival time.

For arrivals, the vehicle will be waiting at the airport and the driver at the pickup location, when the aircraft lands.

For departures, the vehicle will be ready to pick you up at your hotel up to three hours before the flight’s scheduled departure (plus transit time).

Private flights (non commercial) include a 30-minute waiting window, according to the original request. After 30 minutes you will be billed US$30 per hour for additional wait time.

Rates for transfers include vehicle, driver, fuel, taxes and tolls.

Hourly service includes vehicle, driver, fuel and all taxes. It does not include tolls. Tolls should be paid directly by the passenger at the tollbooth.

Rates for airport transfers and hourly service do not include gratuity. Although the driver may not ask for a tip, feel free to tip our drivers.

Passengers must comply with local laws in the Dominican Republic. For your safety, our drivers are instructed not to exceed 109 Km/H under any circumstance.

We cannot guarantee on-time arrival of the vehicle when transportation is booked within less than eight hours of the pickup time.

Transekur Global and its providers reserve the right to provide transportation services or end a service if they consider convenient to do so. We reserve the right not to provide service to certain clients at all.

Transekur Global will not assume responsibility for any claim, or expenses resulting from injury or death during the use of our transportation services. The company will not assume liability in case of accidents, damage to the passenger’s property, and lack of enjoyment, physical, mental or emotional consequences of the situations described above.

Transekur Global is not responsible for the client’s failure to obtain proper travel documentation or if local authorities deny entrance to any of its passengers for any reason.

Transekur Global LLC is not responsible for travel disruptions resulting from events of ‘force majeure’ such as weather, natural disasters, earthquakes, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, acts of war, terrorism and other circumstances that cannot be controlled by the company.

The laws of the market where the service is taking place shall govern claims relating to Transekur Global and its providers.
