Who We Are 

Transekur, meaning “Safe Transport,” was founded in 2012 with a single Chevy Suburban, originally purchased for personal use. After repeated rental requests, our founder identified a market gap in Santo Domingo for a premium transportation service—one already present in major cities worldwide.

A few months later, a second Chevy Suburban was added, and Transekur Global was officially incorporated in the Dominican Republic and the United States.

Providing Vehicles for Over 20 years

• 2014 – Opened a branch in Punta Cana, the leading destination in Central America and the Caribbean.

• 2015 – Expanded operations to Santiago, enhancing nationwide coverage.

• Became capable of serving all international airports in the Dominican Republic in under 60 minutes.

• Entered a new business sector: rental of production equipment for events, documentaries, and films.
